I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
New Christians and those who are going through a difficult time in their life or their walk with Christ often need a more personal approach to being a disciple than just being a part of a House Group. Which is why we practice one-to-one mentoring where a mature Christian takes on the role of mentor, meeting with an individual on a regular basis (usually weekly) to discuss all aspects of their life and their faith. Providing guidance, support, instruction and wisdom where needed.
You will normally be invited to take part in this, but if you feel you are in need of mentoring then please contact the Group Co-Ordinator.
To ensure probity our fellowship has developed a series of guidelines and also a vetting procedure for mentors. We also provide mentoring for young adults, in this case mentors will be both vetted by the government Disclosure and Barring Service as well as being subject to our own Safe to Grow process.
