‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:40
Sometimes life just gets in the way and we find that we need help beyond that which that the resources of our House Group can provide. Our Pastoral Care Team is a group of extremely dedicated and mature Christians who can provide help both practically or spiritually; whether it is organizing baby-sitters so you can attend hospital; providing meals whilst the main parent is out of action; or visiting the home or hospital to provide fellowship and prayerful support.
The Pastoral Care Team meets regularly to discuss and pray in strictest confidence about the needs of our church and often those beyond our church and in the community. Because we are a close-knit fellowship and usually hear about matters that require the help of our Pastoral Care Team either from individuals or via House Group Leaders, but if you have a situation that may require help then please contact Wayne Lawther who leads this group.
Pastoral Care is also one of the topics that is regularly part of our Leadership Team discussions, so be assured that if you are under the care of the team then the leadership will be praying for you.
It can be reassuring that if you are facing or in a situation that needs prayerful support that access to the fellowship is only a click away. Whilst technology is not always a blessing it is with PrayerNet: text’s and emails for prayer requests can be received and sent to a significant number of our prayer warriors for immediate intercession.
