Dorothy was very dear to many of us so I should like to organise an informal service to remember her well and to thank God for her life. Therefore, on Saturday 12th December – Dorothy’s 89th birthday – at 4pm, there will be a 30 minute or so Zoom gathering. Her family will also be joining us, so it would be wonderful if several of us could share some memories of Dorothy with them to put a smile on all our faces!

This Sunday...as part of our Advent season, we are looking at Jesus: God's Light. As part of Sunday's Service, I will ask the question: "in ONE word, what has Jesus meant for you this year?" I will invite those at home on Zoom, and those in church, to maybe share their word with a brief explanation as to why. We will then pray together and give thanks to God in Christ for all He has been for us. So, please do take a moment to reflect on that ONE word that would describe Jesus for you this year. Not easy!
